If the building has previously been associated with food it will be a good deal less hassle than have to change the use registered with the local authorities. As well as having the right licence, you will need to comply with health and safety regulations and taking a basic food hygiene course would be an advantage.

As well as thinking about fitting out your shop and which suppliers you'll work with, you must think about and get the right takeaway insurance.
